"We Are Saving God" - The Danger of State Led Religions...

I believe government is ordained by God. Romans 13 says the powers that be are ordained of God, and that the ruler is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. It matters who gets elected, because rulers who won't punish evildoers will punish the people doing good instead. But we can't swing the pendulum so far the other way that we think government is the answer to spiritual matters in America.
About a year ago, Eric Trump said on the Benny Johnson show that we're saving Christianity, we're saving God, people are coming back to church, and that his father will go to heaven for all of it. That is not how anyone goes to heaven. And when men start celebrating peace in the world, remember that the Bible says when they shall say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them (1 Thessalonians 5:3).
In Revelation 17 the great whore is the one with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication. The end-times false religion merges with government. I don't think God should be kicked out of government, but the church and the state should not marry. Setting aside our theological differences so we can unite politically and usher in a golden age is dangerous, and the golden age is an esoteric term. The Bible says a political leader is coming, the Antichrist, who will promise a utopia where everybody worships together.
There is no political solution to the problems we have today. The only real chance America has is a Christian revival brought about by the preaching of God's Word, and that is where I want to point you.
