The Polygamous Pastor Situation Just Got A Lot Worse!!!! WOW!!!

Yesterday we talked about the Cleveland-area pastor who announced a second wife, and new videos have surfaced that tell us more about the heart condition behind it. In clips shared by Protestia, he explains that as he considered taking a second wife, all three of them fasted and prayed, and he claims God spoke to him and the other woman in a dream and approved of it. He also says he married her to set an example for pastors and people. God does not speak in a dream to tell you to do what His Word forbids.

Paul told Timothy, Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears (2 Timothy 4:2-3). The reason people turn from Bible doctrine is a lust problem, and in another clip this man says his wife doesn't mind if he looks at other women. That is not a marriage.

To the women involved: you are being preyed upon. A man who claims dreams, visions, and signs and uses the Bible to justify his own desires is manipulating you. This is the hallmark of a cult, and you need to find the door quickly. I'm praying the Lord would open your eyes.

This is what happens when people don't know the Bible and don't know Bible doctrine. Sadly there are many more situations like this out there, and some of them are even in Baptist churches. We deal with the philosophy of ministry that covers for sin in our book The Fallout From Disclosure.
