Fox News is reporting that Kid Rock and Eminem are teaming up on a faith-based album called Halfway to Jesus, and that Kid Rock wants to bring Christian revivals to stadiums. Well, if you are halfway to Jesus, you ain't to Jesus. This is exactly what we wrote about years ago in our book Calling Evil Good: an industry that uses the name of Jesus as a marketing tool to broaden the appeal of its music.

By his own words, Kid Rock says that after Charlie Kirk was assassinated he started to become closer to his faith, but that he didn't get saved, he is still going to drink a beer and smoke a cigar, and he feels like he has always been right with God. That is not the gospel. The Bible says that if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away, and all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). The grace of God that bringeth salvation teaches us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world (Titus 2:11-12).

Notice too how faith and politics are woven together in all of this. Revelation 17 describes a religion that is merged with the kings of the earth, and what we are watching is a state religion taking shape, the kind of end-times deception we cover in our Third Adam documentary series.

So what do we do with this? We reject it biblically. These men are cashing in on Jesus to line their pockets, and Bible-believing Christianity has no part in it. Please don't fall for this stuff.
