North Carolina Doctrine Matters Conference Was a Huge Success!

Our Doctrine Matters Conference in Newland, North Carolina, was a huge success! The conference was well attended, and I am thankful for everyone who joined us at Fellowship Baptist Church.
I want to share a few highlights and some pictures from our time together. There was a lot to be thankful for, and I especially want to recognize the men who helped make this conference what it was.
Bible Teaching and Preaching
Kevin Keeter taught a great lesson on the doctrine of preservation and hermeneutics. Those subjects matter. What we believe about the preservation of Scripture and how we interpret it affects how we approach the rest of the Bible. I was thankful to have Kevin teach on them.
Cody Zorn preached a powerful Bible message. I appreciate him being part of the conference and bringing the preaching of God’s Word.
During my sessions, I spoke about the qualifications of a bishop, the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, and the Third Adam series. These are subjects I care deeply about. Church leadership, sound doctrine, and biblical discernment deserve careful attention, not a quick slogan and a change of subject.
Bro Zac Bennet spoke about not quitting. He was also a big help in the conference, and I want to thank him for that. I appreciate his message and his willingness to help.
Thank You for Being Part of It
I am grateful for the opportunity to have these meetings at Fellowship Baptist Church. Thank you to everyone who attended and to those who helped with the conference. It means a great deal to have people come together around the Word of God.
The pictures below show some of the preaching, teaching materials, book tables, and time together. I wanted to include all of them so you could see more than a single picture from the meeting.
