Friend, if you're reading this, I want you to know something straight from the Word of God. God's desire is for you to be saved. This isn't just some religious cliché or feel-good phrase; it's the eternal truth of Scripture. The Bible says in
2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." That includes you. No matter your past, no matter your condition, Jesus Christ paid the price for your sins on the cross, was buried, and rose again the third day so you could have eternal life. You don't have to go to hell.
BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND THOU SHALT BE SAVED...
What does the Bible say you must do in order to go to heaven?
Recognize your condition: You have sinned against God.
-Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Result of your condition: There is a penalty for sin.
-Romans 3:23a "For the wages of sin is death;..."
The Rescue from your condition: Christ paid for your sins.
-Romans 3:23b "...but the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord."
-Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Remedy for your condition: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
-Acts 16:31 "...Believe on the Lord Jesus Chrsit and thou shalt be saved..."
-Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
